The Atlantic Cruiser 60 is an 18m catamaran trawler made from Hechthout® plywood. The boat, designed by architectural firm Marc Lombard and built by Herve shipyard, is one of the only boats of its size to be constructed entirely in the material.
One of the main benefits of building with Plywood is its light weight.
The Atlantic Cruiser is 30-40% lighter than it would have been if more traditional materials, such as aluminium or glass polyester, had been used.
